Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time and talents to Greater Cincinnati’s largest adoption event! There are many tasks that we will need help with during the event including helping rescues bring animals in, greeting and assisting guests, keeping water bowls filled, distributing goody bags, helping new pet owners to their cars, etc. There are also plenty of volunteer opportunities leading up to the event like soliciting donations, distributing posters, stuffing goody bags, promoting the event on Facebook and helping with event set-up. As you can see, there are lots of ways to volunteer and we’re excited that you’ll be joining our team.
We’re asking that all of our MFV 2013 volunteers commit to the following:
1. Purchase an Event T-shirt. We’re asking our volunteers to purchase their Event Staff T-shirt when they complete the Registration Form. All volunteers will receive free pizza, beverages, snacks and a free flexi retractable leash!
2. Attend Volunteer Orientation.* Our Volunteer Orientation will be held on Friday, February 8th at 6:30PM at our event location (flexi USA in West Chester.) At this meeting we will review volunteer assignments, distribute t-shirts and answer any questions you may have. We’ll be setting up for the event that night and you’re welcome to stick around and help out with effort. It may be a long night, but we keep it fun and we look forward to having you all!
3. All volunteers aged 13-18 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer.
