Rosa’s primary mission is to find permanent homes for adoptable shelter animals and strays. We rescue all breeds and emphasize the importance of training in building a strong bond with your animal. Training is included in foster care, and additional training sessions are sponsored by the rescue throughout the year.
We also focus on educating the community on the humane treatment of animals.
We are a network of individuals, partnered together, to provide temporary homes for adoptable animals. During their brief stay with us, we work on stabilization and socialization of the animal, basic training, begin housebreaking and crate train, exercise and leash training, treat health problems and provide basic veterinary care, including immunizations, worming, spay/neuter if old enough, and microchipping.
Adoptable Animal Types & Adoption Fees
ROSA’S Rescue has the following adoptable animal types available and their adoption fees are as follows:
- Puppies & Dogs: $150.00
All of their adoptable animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, current on all DHPP/FVRCP vaccines, microchipped and if age appropriate, all of their animals are rabies vaccinated.
We have potential adopters go to our website and fill out an application. One of our volunteers contacts the potential adopter and tell them about the dog/cat and asks them about their home environment and sees if there is a possible fit. If they are still interested in a dog at one of our events we will have them fill out an application on site. We then contact the 2 references and the vet reference. If the applicant fills out an online application we set up a meeting place and time to meet the animal. If the references check out we process the adoption.
My Furry Valentine Participation
ROSA’S Rescue will be attending both days of the My Furry Valentine Main Event. They will bring some adoptable puppies and dogs and will conduct on-site adoptions. You can learn more about their adoptable animals by using the contact information below.
