Shelter: Purrfect Additions, Inc.
Pet Description: Amelia, FIV+ (believed to be about 3 years old): Affectionate Amelia was found during the bad weather right before Christmas. She had a very bad upper respiratory infection, was significantly underweight at a little over 3 pounds, and tested FIV+. However, even while ill, she was and continues to be such an affectionate, sweet companion. She has now almost doubled her weight and is well on the road to recovery. Amelia can take or leave most toys because all she wants is a person to love. It's almost impossible to stop visiting with her once you look at those big, beautiful eyes which beg you to stay with her for cuddles and snuggles she's good with that for as long as you want to hold her! Because of her upper respiratory infection she hasn't encountered another kitty yet in her foster home, but hopefully she can be introduced soon to another foster kitty friend so we can see if her sweetness extends to other felines. She showed little interest in dogs she's seen at the vet clinic. If you long for a cuddle-buddy, keep checking on her adoption status because you've found the one (she's scheduled to be spayed later in February).
