Pet Description: Billie had a really hard start to life, being found abandoned in an old pool in Cincinnati. She had no idea how to be a dog or who she could trust. But, between her good friends at Cincinnati CARE and here at the League for Animal Welfare she has really blossomed and what was revealed is the sweetest, little love bug you could ever hope for. Billie struggles with anxiety, and her favorite way to cope with that is by destroying her toys, and boy is she good at it! She has never chosen to chew on any people things when spending her time in the office with us, just her toys but they are a need for this girl. She does fabulously on community hikes, always getting great report cards. She would love an active home without cats that can provide her with the stability, consistency, and stimulation that she needs. When she finds that, you will see this girl absolutely blossom.
