Danica

Pet Description: Meet Danica, a super sweet 4.5-year-old Boxer/Hound mix. Sweet Danica was found as a stray, and not in great shape, very underweight and dehydrated. She has loved getting all the food she wants and is super food-motivated and appreciative. However, having gone without food has made her so food motivated that she will counter surf or eat things in the yard she should not. She has a basket muzzle to wear for situations where she could get into trouble but as long as she is properly supervised, doesn't need it. Danica lives with three dogs, ranging from 25 to 50lbs and she gets along with them all. She also lives with a cat and is curious and friendly. Danica doesn't live with kids but has met several and gets along great with them. Danica loves to play with high energy dogs and loves to nap with low energy dogs. She is learning leash skills and improving daily. Danica has stayed in a crate and a small room when left alone. She does well with both. She may whine if she hears her foster arrive home but otherwise is wonderful. Danica would be a great addition to just about any home.
