Pet Description: We're fairly certain Marlin trademarked "Get off my lawn. He's a 7.5-year-old, 60lb bumpy and grumpy old man that mainly just moves from surface to surface. He really enjoys laying on furniture, so as long as you have a comfy couch, chair, or cot, he's happy. He has also been found laying in the yard or even in the fire pit. It is insanely cute, however, when he does have spurts of energy, his little chunky butt and tail will wiggle and he'll hop around like he doesn't have a care in the world. This is how he got the nickname "Happy Feet. This dog lives for food and somehow always shows up when his foster parents are eating. Like most old men, he has no problem telling you how he feels by barking gruffly. He gets along with calmer dogs like himself, but will tell the younger kids to sit down! He would do best as an only dog or in a home with other low-energy dogs. He is house and crate trained, but sometimes will have his senior moments. He loves affection, and has just become comfortable enough with his foster parents that he demands it. Marlin is a special boy with special needs - he has cancer, but is living comfortably. We would love for him to live his best life in a retirement home with lots of love and snacks. Complete an adoption application for Marlin today! His adoption fee is sponsored.
