Mr. Bubbles

Pet Description: Mr. Bubbles is a handsome, 4 year old Pit bull mix! This cropped ear boy is a tank, weighing in around 80 pounds. Bubbles arrived into rescue with a limp, and we quickly learned he had a broken scapula. While we don't know how his shoulder blade was broken, we suspect he may have been hit by a car. Despite how painful it must've been, Mr. B was still the happiest and sweetest boy! His front left leg was amputated in order to relieve his pain. He's doing a fantastic job getting around on just three legs, and is even happier now! He does tend to get more easily worn out on three legs while he's adjusting, but is getting better each day. He can go up and down stairs without a problem and is getting back to running about! Bubbles loves trying to catch treats, trying being the key word. He may make the effort, but isn't the best catcher out there! He loves to sniff and explore the backyard at his foster home. He does great in his crate and is potty trained. Although Mr. Bubbles is primarily crated when his foster family is away, he does pretty well when left loose in the home. He often is found napping and waiting for his foster family to return. He loves snuggling up on his dog bed, and is generally non-destructive. Mr. Bubbles doesn't understand how big he is, and may unintentionally knock over a small child, so he's looking for a family with older children! He is a pretty medium energy dude - while he likes to run and play for a bit, he also likes lounging around and hanging out with his foster family. He lives for belly rubs and will quickly flop over for one. Bubbles is looking for a kitty-free home. He can be picky with his doggy friends, and would do best as your only dog. He's working on his leash manners, but loves when he goes for walks and can roll around in the grass! Mr. Bubbles prefers to eat in his crate, away from any distractions, before coming back out to rejoin his foster family. His tail never stops wagging and loves to give little "woooooos" when he's happy, which is pretty often! He loves going for car rides, his favorite destination being the vet, where he gets to sit in laps and get so much attention. Don't pass up this best boy, be sure to apply online today!
