Shelter: Josephs Legacy
Pet Description: My name is Rebekah and I was rescued in Hamilton where my owner left me and my babies behind when they moved away. The property owner called Joseph’s Legacy because my babies and I were outside fending for ourselves. I also was struggling to provide for them since I have an issue with my leg. At first, doctors and my foster mom thought I’d have to lose my front leg. The plan was to have me care for my babies until they were weaned, then address my leg after. I have tearing of all the muscular attachments of my scapula. I need to be kept indoors, I cannot survive outside. I will never have a full function of my front leg again but the good news is I have enough function that I can live a normal life as I am. I may walk with a limp but I can do anything other cats can do! If you’re looking for a special girl to be your valentine, I’d love to finally have a family of my own that would never leave me behind. I am FIV+ but I can live with other cats! Don't worry, it just means I have a weak immune system and will need to visit a vet if I get sick.
