Ruby

Pet Description: Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 4-yr-old standard poodle, with the MOST beautiful amber locks! Ruby's past has left her a bit untrusting of humans, unfortunately. She is very shy, but with patience and calm energy, she will come around. Despite being cautious and shy in her foster home, Ruby is very curious about everything. When given the time, she will approach you and once there, loves to be touched. She is very gentle, and even though frightened at times, has never shown any aggression! Ruby shares her foster home with a cat and two large male dogs! She is curious about the cat and will approach him with gentle sniffs. Ruby, for the most part, ignores the dogs displaying appropriate boundaries. Ruby is crated when left alone. She will protest ( mostly howling), but will calm quickly. Ruby has had no accidents in her crate, but still working on potty training outside of crate. A family with another balanced dog would be ideal for Ruby, in helping guide her in so many ways! Ruby will thrive in a family that understands her need for patience and overall commitment! She is making strides everyday to come out of her shell, and readiness to show the world what she's made of!!
