Pet Description: Meet Yankee! I have had this sweet boy as a short term foster. He is one of my favorite foster pups that I have had in my home! Here is some info about him. - 1-2 year old Labrador mix - Low- med energy level - He is crate trained - He has not had an accident yet while being in my home (but I have kept him with me on leash) - he knows “sit”, “down”, and he walks very well on a leash - He has a gentle and loving personality - He will cower or jump back from some sudden movements - He loves my older kids. He is a bit uncomfortable with the younger ones (likely because of their sudden movements) - I would guess that he has had bad experiences with men, but I think with some patience and treats his trust would be earned! - He is smart and eager to please! Learns routine quickly. - He is good with other dogs - He has done well with our cats - He would love to be a part of a family forever! Does he sound like a good fit for you?
