Am I required to wear a mask at the event?
For the safety of all our adopters, visitors, and volunteers, we encourage wearing a face mask while in the Sharonville Convention Center for My Furry Valentine. For those interested, we will have some My Furry Valentine branded masks available at the merchandise table.
Can I bring my current pet to the Main Event?
We all love our pets, that’s why we created this event, to help more wonderful animals into loving homes. But bringing your pet to this event is not allowed, as a courtesy to the 700+ animals already on site as well as for the safety and well-being of our guests. All animals participating in My Furry Valentine from our rescues and shelters are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and have health records on site. If you feel the need to schedule a meet-and-greet between your current pet and a potential adoptee, please contact that rescue or shelter directly.
How much is the adoption fee?
We will have dozens of different rescues and shelters attending our main event, and even more at satellite locations. Each of their adoption fees and applications vary, so be sure to learn more about them and view their available animals on our Featured Pet Gallery page. Click on the links for more information about their adoption process, fees, etc.
Please note that not every participating rescue offers on-site (same-day) adoptions at the Main Event. If there is an animal you are interested in, you may want to fill out an application with the respective rescue/shelter(s) in advance of My Furry Valentine.
Will the Main Event be held if the weather is bad?
As long as driving conditions are safe, the My Furry Valentine Main Event at the Sharonville Convention Center, will happen as planned. The Main Event is held entirely indoors.
There are several participating locations throughout the city and we cannot guarantee that they will happen as advertised, especially in inclement weather. Please contact the participating locations directly if you have any questions.
